How We Work With You:
The Emeka Emecheta voice over company (Okana Entertainment LLC) offers a cradle to fruition service. We understand that VO application is not a one size fits all and must be perfectly aligned with the clients objective, such that it resonates and gains top of mind awareness, even the subconscious mind of the eventual target audience.
This is how we work:
Please send us an email with a short description of your project; the length of the scripts, type of product or service. We will reply your mail, giving first hand understanding of your requirements. We then advise on a first zoom meeting to discuss and get a clearer understanding of your vision to determine the parameters of the project and the eventual goal.
Quotes and rates are determined per job and beneficial to both parties towards fostering long term relationships. Many factors are taken into consideration to determine the skill and time required to price a project.
Our turnaround time is quick! Sessions can also be booked via phone or source connect. Work can be returned as early as 48 hours. We accommodate at least one additional recording session, to record minor script changes, prior to the first use of work. Please enquire for more details.

What seemed like a joke, earned a client an over 74.3% increase in sales revenue on one product! How? Emeka’s voice! While visiting a producer friend one afternoon in his studio, Emeka filled in for a VO artist who cancelled last minute due to an emergency. As it turned out, Emeka’s recording was all “THE VOICE” that was needed for the successful commercial. His VO career literally hit the ground running.
Emeka has the ability to be heard, even in a noisy crowd; his distinct and versatile voice is soothing, convincing and gains trust, as he calls to action. Emeka has leveraged on his vast travel and exposure for better storytelling.
About Emeka Emecheta
Emeka Emecheta is trained multilingual, African voice over talent. He is an expressive and versatile voice talent in commercial and promotional voice overs, e-learning, documentary narration, on-camera and event compere work. Emeka’s voice makes an instant connection with audiences, that wins heart and mind share. His Rich and Soulful tone is memorable towards conversion. Emeka understands brand messaging intuitively and produces voice over work and projects, that accomplish your goal to connect and convert followers and customers, on a sustained basis.
Emeka is an engineer, with a 20+ year career in the energy sector. He obtained his B.Eng and M.Eng Petroleum Engineering degrees from Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) Nigeria and Texas A&M University, College Station, U.S.A respectively. He is well travelled, having worked with numerous multinationals; Cooper Cameron, Kvaerner and Baker Hughes. The last 15 years of his career, saw him hold various roles, in various capacities, with Chevron Corporation USA, working in Houston (Texas), Covington (Louisiana), and also in Nigeria (Africa). He has also lived in Voorburg (Netherlands) and currently resides in Mars, Pennsylvania with his lovely Wife and two beautiful Daughters.
Emeka’s transition to the VO world was inevitable as he was born for voice over. This talent notably present from childhood. He pursued this true calling and built a successful “behind the scenes” portfolio, prior to his official launch, working for a variety of radio and television stations in Nigeria, on a pseudo basis, as practice for the big stage. Along this path of painstaking practice, he acquired a vast knowledge of the commercial and promotional voice-over industry while continuously training with some of the best in the VO biz; with renowned VO Coach; Jodi Gottlieb, VO Actor; Larry Hudson and Lead guitarist/vocalist Chuck Duran, VO professional on the Disney XD series “I’m in the Band’, and co-host of the voice-over web series VO Buzz Weekly.
The benefit of working with Emeka is the versatility of his voice. Emeka also brings to bear further experience and exposure on a myriad of topics and content as an avid traveller, and a voracious reader. This exposure has sharpened his natural story-telling and communication abilities, which he assumes, even when telling your story convincingly through his VO prowess. Emeka believes that VO Is the natural extension and the greatest component of effective storytelling.
On a personal note, his love for travel have taken him to over thirty (30) countries across Europe, Africa, the Americas and Asia, both for business and pleasure, with a particular preference to places of historical events and monuments. He is a mixed martial arts (MMA) fan, and a huge supporter of a foremost London football club, where the sky remains blue- Chelsea!
